What is necessary
The website remembers your agreement or refusal of measurement for 183 days. A technical cookie lasting fifteen minutes lets us display the result of the confirmation of your email address, without containing that address.
The administration area uses a secure session reserved for the team. The public website does not offer a customer account. The composition of the Box stays in the page until the form is sent; it is not saved in local storage.
Anonymous visit counters
The server adds up the loads of some public pages in a counter per page and per day, on Paris time. These counters record no IP address, no identifier, no individual time, no origin of the visit and no URL parameters. No individual visit line is kept and no matching with sign-ups is carried out.
This counter sets no measurement tracker and does not ask the browser for an identifier. It is only used to know how much the Oh Miaou pages are visited. Daily totals are kept for thirteen months at most. Prefetches and known robots are excluded; pages revisited from the cache may not be counted.
The “Turn off anonymous measurement” button at the bottom of the site lets you object to it for the following pages. A technical preference cookie, with no identifier, remembers this choice for 183 days. The browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also turn this counter off.
Optional detailed tracking
Only after you agree, random identifiers are used to measure the pages and steps of the journey, the type of device and where the visit comes from. Your email, first name, city and product choices do not appear in these events.
The measurement cookie lasts 183 days, the local identifier thirteen months at most, and the session identifier disappears with the browser session. No measurement identifier is used after your agreement expires or is withdrawn. The events are recorded in the Neon database; the third-party tools Google, Plausible and Vercel Analytics remain turned off in this version.
Accept, decline or change your mind
You can accept or decline detailed tracking in the banner. This choice is separate from the anonymous counter described above. After you choose, “Manage my trackers” at the bottom of the site lets you change it. Declining blocks neither browsing nor sign-up. Withdrawing removes the optional identifiers from the browser.
The detailed information is in the launch list notice, together with the privacy policy and the legal notice.
